Who Are the Terrorists?
Trinity Centre - Main Hall, Trinity Centre
Saturday, 18th May 13:00 – 14:10
‘Terrorism’ is designated as the worst form of crime, reserved to describe the worst actions. But the discourse around terrorism couches an inherent racism. Related concepts like radicalisation, and policies like PREVENT, are part of strategies to delegitimise certain forms of political action and certain political actors. This session investigates the counter-terrorism narrative, and how activists should react to it.
