Sean O'Brien

Sean O'Brien teaches American literature at the University of Bristol. With Madeline Lane-McKinley, he is editor of The Return of the 90s: A Cultural History of the Present (Pluto Press, 2026). With Thomas Waller, he is editor of Keywords for Value and Culture, and special issue of Comparative Literature and Culture (CLCWeb). He is currently completing a book entitled Representing Precarity: American Literature and Culture from Boom to Crisis.​
