Michal Nahman has researched the politics of reproduction for over 20 years. She is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at UWE. Her research in Israel/Palestine focused on nationalism and borders through a study of cross-border in vitro fertilisation in the context of the Second Palestinian Intifada.
More recently she has researched politics of motherhood, and reproduction in the UK, Spain and India. Her latest work explores cultures and politics of Middle Eastern food.
