Mattin Biglari

Mattin is a Lecturer in History at the University of Bristol. He works on the history of oil in Iran, especially British imperialism, oil workers, and anticolonial movements. He is the author of Nationalising Oil and Knowledge in Iran: Labour, Decolonisation and Colonial Modernity, 1933-51, published in 2025 by Edinburgh University Press.
