Ian Allinson

Ian used decades of experience as a workplace activist to write Workers Can Win: A Guide to Organising At Work and How To Win A Strike. He led the first national strike in the IT industry in Britain, has organised in the private and public sectors, served on Unite the Union's Executive Council and stood for General Secretary, was one of the founders of Troublemakers At Work, and coordinates strike solidarity for Manchester TUC.
