Bristol Copwatch is a community project and a fiercely independent police monitoring group. They are a small core team of activists and community members who monitor the police locally on the street and across the UK. They believe in building relationships via outreach in local communities in Bristol, they offer workshops and training events and are advocates and case workers for those on the sharp end of abuse of power.
They have been established since March 2020 and are one of the first Copwatch groups that emerged in the UK. They have a wider community group for those who wish to support their work, or just get involved with street monitoring, called Copwatch allies. They are here for the community.
