Comics, Literature, Liberation
Main Hall, Trinity Centre
Saturday, 4th April 14:30 – 15:40
How do the stories we tell ourselves affect our politics? How can narrative art reveal or obscure social dynamics? Is it necessary to change our consciousness before we change the world?
This panel will explore these questions by thinking about the relationship between narrative art and social struggle. We will have talks about comics, literature, and film. It should give you new ways of thinking about art through the lens of radical critique and emancipatory politics.
