The Art of Revolution (talk and questions)

Learning about revolutionary art, then making our own!

Come learn about Russian Constructivism, how this movement applied Marxist principles to their art, and their part in the creation of a new society during the 1917 revolution. Then we'll try applying the same techniques while making our own political posters. No political knowledge (or artistic talent) necessary.

The session will start with a talk & discussion on Russian Constructivism from 11:00-11:45, followed by practical art making until 13:40. Feel free to drop in or out at any time in the practical part of the session!
