Take Action with ACORN

Join ACORN carrying out direct action!

The morning of 18th of May, ACORN are taking action at multiple locations across the UK, on a target that’s making renting more insecure and driving up the cost of rent. The action will take place a short walk from the Bristol Transformed festival site; there will be a short introduction before heading out together to support ACORN members protesting. You will be back at the festival by 12.20.

ACORN is a community union for low to medium income people that started 10 years ago with a small group of friends organising to take on rogue landlords. Now there are thousands of ACORN members across the UK who have won life-saving improvements to social housing blocks, hundreds of thousands in repairs and compensation for private renters, and kept millions in the pockets of low income people during the cost of living crisis.
