Religion and Socialism – Socialist Virtues

Trinity Centre - Fyfe Hall, Trinity Centre

Sunday, 19th May 14:30 – 15:40

Following on from last years panel and the monthly events that succeeded it, this workshop will be a discussion about socialist virtues. Which character traits have religions valued through time? What should socialists try to cultivate within themselves to survive in capitalism? Can religious communities give us any tips on how to flourish in an imperfect world?

This fully interactive session will be carried out in P4C format (Philosophy for Communities) where participants devise questions in small groups and vote on what they want to discuss.
