Russian Constructivists - The Art of Revolution
Saturday, 20th January 14:30 – 17:00
This month we're exploring Russian Constructivists, their commitment to the ideals of the Bolshevik Revolution and their part in the creation of a new society during the turbulent revolutionary period.
There will be a brief art history lecture at 2.30 about Russian Constructivism, how this movement applied Marxist principles to their art and in doing so helped the Bolsheviks to win the revolution. Feel free to drop in at any point to do some arts and crafts if you can't make the lecture!

Join us to explore the art and symbolism employed by revolutionary movements through discussion and creation.
