Starmer's government is collapsing for a dozen reasons: crackdowns on political freedom, abandoned pledges, support for genocide, links to Epstein... In this chaos, many are celebrating Andy Burnham's bid to become Prime Minister, hoping his "soft left" approach can improve our lives and restore trust in Labour.

Join us this week to discuss what a Burnham government would mean for our lives and for the future of the UK. With a guest speaker from local socialist group Bristol Marxist Organisers, we'll ask: What changes can we expect from Prime Minister Andy Burnham? Can he save the Labour Party? And should we even want it to be saved?

What to expect

After an introductory talk and Q&A, we will discuss the topic in small groups, with some time to feed back to the whole room.

Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees.

We aim for every event to be accessible to everyone, regardless of any prior knowledge!
