BAFZ Doorknocking Training - talking to your neighbours about Palestine
Tuesday, 7th April 17:15 – 19:00
Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone (BAFZ) are running this free doorknocking training event to help you to get active in your community to build a mass movement for a free Palestine. With a strategy inspired by the community union ACORN, BAFZ will teach us how they engage people in deep conversations about Palestine to win their support, and how you can do the same.
This event is recommended for those new to the campaign, and those already involved who want to learn the principles behind how BAFZ has grown. After learning the fundamentals of their doorknocking strategy, we'll go out together to knock on a few doors and put those lessons into practice.
About BAFZ
BAFZ are a local community-led boycott campaign building a city-wide boycott of Israeli fresh produce in support of a free Palestine. This is being achieved by knocking every door in the city and asking people to sign their pledge!
Having started in St Pauls and Easton last year the campaign has spread all over the city, with active doorknocking groups in St Werburghs, Montpelier, Bedminster, St George, Windmill Hill, Eastville and more. Over 6000 people and 80 shops have already signed on to support the campaign.
