Come down with your devices for a practical, hands on session. We will collectively share tips and help each other install secure apps & plugins. As well as explore & put into place some better digital security practices to try and make us all a safer and a little less leaky with our data.

This is an open, inclusive event suitable for anyone new to or comfortable with digital security.

There is no set program but some topics we might look at include:

– General Security Culture & Threat Models

– VPN’s & TOR– Fdroid, Aurorastore and other useful apps & plugins

– Alternative tools to google & microsoft

– Password managers

– Setting up Tails OS on a USB stick

– Having a look at GrapheneOS on a Google Pixel

– Whatever else people bring and want to explore
