Some of our organisers have been politically active for years, but it's also a great way to find your feet in the local left. For many people, BT is the first serious political activity they've been involved in, and it helps develop the skills & confidence to move forward into areas like trade union organising.

There's loads of ways to get involved:

Festival planning - join in one of our working groups to help plan and deliver our festival

Work with our childcare team, who deliver free childcare to events all over the city, including of course our festival

Volunteering on the day - we need lots of stewards on the weekend of the festival to make sure everything runs smoothly
